Gayla Martin’s recognition as IAIP Insurance Professional of the Year is a proud moment for ReSource Pro. It underscores the caliber of talent within our team and our commitment to fostering industry leadership and excellence.

About the award

The Insurance Professional of the Year award celebrates those helping to shape the insurance industry through education, industry alliances, and legislative activities. Selection criteria include IAIP involvement, continuing education, industry involvement, community involvement, and an essay on an industry topic. Candidates need at least ten years of experience in insurance or risk management to be considered. They also must be active IAIP members in good standing for at least five consecutive years.

Award criteria

The rigorous selection process includes stages at both the regional and international level. Candidates submit detailed applications outlining their professional achievements and contributions, which are evaluated by a committee of non-IAIP member insurance professionals.

Reviewers focus on IAIP involvement, industry education, employment history, and the essay provided by each candidate. Regional winners then compete at the international level, with the final selection made by another independent panel.

Celebrating leadership and pursuit of education

Throughout her career, Gayla Martin has shown exemplary dedication to her profession and community. She stands apart as a leader and innovator through her commitment to IAIP, continuous pursuit of education, and active engagement in industry and community initiatives. This award honors not just her professional accomplishments, but also her commitment to fostering growth and excellence within the insurance industry.

Congratulations, Gayla, for this well-deserved recognition.
